Flannel by Yigitcan Vatansever is a timeless and reversible scarf constructed with garter stitch, playing with slipping the stitches in front and back, to achieve the look of a woven checkered fabric.
It's worked flat with 2 colors which alternate every 2 rows. Main design features are a garter stitch base and slip stitches that construct vertical lines. Slipping the stitches with yarn in front and in back makes the design reversible.
The scarf consists of 2 alternating sections, each with a dominant color. Edges are worked with an I-cord edge to have a polished look.
