Inspired by softness and the checkered pattern of its fabric, Flannel by Yigitcan Vatansever is named after its woven twin. This timeless and reversible scarf is constructed with garter stitch, playing with slipping the stitches in front and back, to achieve the look of a woven checkered fabric.
Flannel Scarf is worked flat with 2 colors which alternate every 2 rows. Main design features are a garter stitch base and slip stitches that construct vertical lines. Slipping the stitches with yarn in front and in back makes the design reversible.
The scarf consists of 2 alternating sections, each with a dominant color. Edges are worked with an I-cord edge to have a polished look.
