What's On Our Needles? Alder Wrap

Update:

We had an impromptu Alder Wrap party at the store with Chita and Tara.

Chita and Tara picked out colors in Rowan Yarns Kidsilk Haze for their wraps (their gorgeous choices are in the baskets). We can't wait to see their finished wraps!

Andrea and Diane are knitting the Alder Wrap by Kaffe Fasset.  

We recently received a new shipment of Kidsilk Haze and the colors were talking to us!  They're both using 6 colors of Kidsilk Haze. 

Andrea is using colors 674, 590, 641, 595, 589, and 597 (shown above). She's making hers in the round so there's no purling. 

Diane is using colors 674, 590, 641, 689, 611, and a dark green from stash. 

It's interesting that they're both using 3 of the same colors but have totally different looks. 

It's an easy peasy knit.  The striping keeps things fun and interesting.

They'll be finished just in time for fall!
