The Tundra Toque by thepetiteknitter is a matching project for the tundra jumper. They are visual translations of our arctic experience in Iqaluit. The colours and motives are derived from our walks on the frozen beach, snow flakes we catch on our sleeves and the northern lights we see from our bedroom window.
The tundra toque is knitted bottom up and in the round. It features a 1x1 ribbed brim and stranded colourwork throughout the body. It is a fitted hat with no slouch, the pattern includes instructions on how to make it slouchy, if that’s your preferred fit.
The pattern included colour coded charts and written instructions.
