Have you wondered how curves are made or how to add extra length in knitting without adding more stitches?  The technique is short rows. It's used to knit sweater necklines, sock heels and curved shawls for a better fit.  It's an invaluable technique to add to your knitting skills toolbox.

The Simple Bandana Cowl by Ali Habel is a fun way to learn how to make short rows.  You can choose to learn either German Short Rows or the Wrap and Turn technique.
