Learn three types of crochet ribbing while making super cute Ribbit Gaunlets.
In this class you will learn about the structure of crochet stitches by exploring how placing your hook through different parts of a crochet stitch can create stretchy or decorative ribbing. This is a project based class so everything you learn becomes a fingerless glove to show off your new ribbing skills. IN this class, we will complete one fingerless glove and you will be provided the pattern to complete the project at home. This class will give you a lot of the skills you need to level up from a beginner crocheter to intermediate.
Skills Learned:
Foundation single crochet, double crochet post (fpdc/bpdc), working through the back loop, half double crochet through the front third loop, slip stitch ribbing, adding slip stitch ribbing to a garment as you go.

The class will take place in person at our San Francisco shop located at 3897 18th Street.
Note: this is for adventurous beginner crocheters. Please read the prerequisite skills as this is not a beginner crochet class.

Crochet 101-A and have successfully made flat single crochet pieces.

Supplies are not included in the cost of the class. Please order your kit at least 24 hours in advance to allow the staff time to prepare your kit. If you choose to purchase supplies the day of the class, please arrive at the shop 30 minutes prior to the class start time.
If you need to cancel your reservation, please let us know as soon as possible and at least 48 hours ahead of the day and we will issue a store credit for the cost of the class. Day before or day of cancellations will result in a forfeiture of the class cost. No shows cannot be credited or refunded.
