The Ponte Top by Ksenia Naidyon of Life is Cozy is a pure celebration of texture. The pattern continues the line of designs inspired by the abundance of details in Italian architecture, this time spotlighting Venetian bridges. Ponte (bridge in Italian) translates the curves, columns, and even railings into well-balanced flowy knitted fabric.
The top is worked sideways. The variety of textures guarantees the best "one more row" kind of knitting experience. The finished top has a lot of built-in positive ease and can be worn at least two ways - with a v-neck or a boat neck - which makes it a perfect throw-over piece for when a bit of extra warmth is needed.
