Discover the very old double knitting technique that is widely used in contemporary patterns. You will learn how easy to create a two-layered fabric as you work each row. In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn the basic techniques of double knitting, including casting on, working two layers at once, and even changing colors.

As you practice, you’ll see how a simple combination of knit and slip stitches can create two-sided patterns, with the colors reversed on the opposite side. We’ll work through the technique step by step, building your confidence as you create your own reversible fabric.

No previous experience with double knitting is needed—just bring your curiosity and your knitting needles!
