Stunning!
Botanic Shawl by Stephen West is knit sideways staring with a corner and increasing to the border. Stripes and slipped stitches decorate the lines of the fabric. One solid yarn (such as Heritage) and one self striping yarn (pictured in Crazy Zauberball) produce an exciting project that is easy to knit. It's fascinating to watch the colors unfold.
This is a great beginner shawl project.
