This class will cover:
- How to knit in the round with double-pointed needles, two circular needles and using magic loop method
- How to do cables with and without cable needle
- How to fit gloves
- How to make this very special edging
- How to read chart
In the first session, you will go over the pattern, border, and methods of working in the round. Homework will be given to begin one glove.
In the second session, we will work on the thumb placement and execution.
Instructor - Faina Goberstein
Faina Goberstein is an independent knitwear designer, author, and a professional teacher. Taking an early retirement from a long career as a math professor gave Faina a chance to let her creativity and long-time passion for knitwear design to become a second profession. She now teaches at live events and virtually for Vogue Knitting Live, Rowan Connect, Interweave Yarn Fest, and various venues such as guilds, fiber fests, and yarn shops locally, around the country and abroad.
