The simple cables are easy to work and create a lovely feature on the mitts. The cables can be worked with or without a cable needle, giving you chance to develop your knitting skills.

NEEDLES
3mm (US 2.5) circular needle or double-pointed needles for working a small circumference in the round (or size to obtain gauge)
Cable needle (optional)

TENSION
29 stitches and 40 rounds to 10 cm (4 in) measured over stockinette stitch using 3mm (US 2.5) needles.
