You need to know only knit, purl and slip stiches to make this top. No shaping is worked as the stitch pattern automatically shapes the neckline.
This pattern gives you a choice of chest circumference and finished length. The photos show one top in the regular fit with a longer length and another top in an oversized fit with a shorter length. As you can see, different combinations of circumference and length give totally different looks.
