For this hat you will need two sets of 16" circular needles and one set of DPNs. The pattern calls for size US 8/5mm 16" circular needles and size US 10.5/6.5mm 16" circular needles and DPNs for the body and crown of the hat, or sizes needed to meet gauge.

Is chunky weight yarn not your thing? The Quibbler Beanie pattern includes instructions for worsted weight as well. Rios and Washted are excellent choices.
