Vence Sweater by Rui Yamamuro was inspired by Stra (wool + linen blend yarn / Woolfolk) and memories of wonderful vacations in the Vence. This short sleeve version is just perfect for warm summer days.
It is the perfect sweater for summer vacations, knit in a yarn made with material giving beautiful drape and getting softer with wear, gently conforming to the wearer’s shape. The fabric and design are extremely relaxed, and its shape also allows it to be easily thrown over the shoulders. It starts at the shoulders using Judy’s Magic Cast-On and each of the left and right front and back yoke pieces are worked piece by piece, together with their V-neck edges. The body is joined at the underarms and worked in the round to the hem, and sleeves are also knitted in the round to the cuff.
