Nimbus Hat by Jenny Noto is named for the Nimbus 2000, Harry Potter's first broom gifted to him by Professor McGonagall. The hat is knit using Mecha, a super soft  chunky weight yarn in gorgeous Malabrigo colors! 

We love how the unique stitches look like little brooms!
Is chunky weight yarn not your thing? The Nimbus Hat pattern includes instructions for worsted weight yarn as well. Rios and Washted are excellent choices.
