Maia Tank by Hannah Singleton is a super lightweight, airy tank that is perfect for spring and summer. The lace weight yarn and larger needle size create a breathable, flowy fabric that is almost undetectable on your skin. The basic lace hem keeps the knitting interesting and fun as you finish up your tank.
The back panel shoulders are provisionally cast-on and knit separately until they are joined for the neckline. The back is then knit flat until the underarms. The front panel joins at the provisional cast-on edge of the back shoulders, and each shoulder is knit separately until deep enough to cast on stitches for the neckline. The body is joined in the round and knit in stockinette, then finished with a lace hem.
