Edgewise Mitts by Nina Holubcova are a crochet take on classic ribbed fingerless mitts. Using simple half double crochet stitches worked into back loops creates a stretchy, lofty rib. Can be worn pulled down over the fingers, or with the hem folded. The mitts are crocheted flat, sideways, starting with the palm and knuckles. A thumb gusset is shaped using slip stitch short rows. The edges are joined with slip stitch for a seamless finish.
