Short Rows Toolbox Class (Berkeley)
Large number of modern knitting patterns is using short-row technique to shape shawls, sweaters (back neck, rounded fronts, longer back or sides, angled cuffs, shaped collars, and more).

Making different geometric shapes like wedges, circles, and waves also requires knowing how to do short rows. The more you learn about the ways to do short rows, the more you see where to apply them. Besides shaping, they can be involved in creating fun three-dimensional textures in one or more colors as well as artistic colorwork that looks like a free-hand painting. In this class you will learn 4 different methods of this technique and how to calculate number of needed turns when you use your choice of yarn for a pattern.
