Qilin is a mythical creature found in Chinese folklore and generally have Chinese dragon-like features. Its body is either partially or fully scaled, hence the name for this beanie. Qilin is also known for its grace and beauty, believed to be benevolent creatures, symbolizing wisdom and pure goodness.
