Sam by Jody Long by Alyssa Rasmussen is knit using Ciao, a soft DK weight superwash merino with excellent stitch definition. The hat is knit flat and seamed. Flowers are shaped in finishing. The pattern includes instructions for both the striped hat and the hat with flowers. It's a great project for advanced beginners.
