This colorful scarf by Yumiko Alexander is fun to knit and wear.
You need to know only the knit stitch to make this, and there is no seaming. You first knit a center panel, then bind off. Then pick up and knit stitches from the previous panel and continue knitting. Repeat this method with occasional color changes.

GAUGE:
19 sts x 28 rows = 4”/10cm in garter stitch with two strands of yarn held together (blocked)
