Fusion is the sweater version of Yumiko Alexander's Joinery pattern, which is sleeveless and uses a worsted-weight yarn knit at an open gauge. Fusion has sleeves, uses a lighter-weight silk yarn knit at a tighter gauge, and it can be worn as a sweater during various seasons, depending where you live.
It’s assembled with four panels using the join-as-you-go method. This method of joining is fun, creates a cable-like detail, and adds character to the top. Using two colors highlights the joins, and the resulting piece is a unique addition to your wardrobe.
The bottom of the front body has an asymmetrical line, and the back body is even. However, you can make both front and back parts asymmetrical or even if you prefer.
