The Pleasure of Blocking Wires

The pleasure of blocking wires

Before sewing up the lovely Tempest (from Knitty Spring ‘08) that Allison knit using Fleece Artist Blue Faced Leicester 2/8, some blocking was needed. Blocking is an essential step in finishing, as it relaxes the stitches, making for easier assembly. Add blocking wires, t-pins, a spritz of water and the process becomes a breeze. Try it out on your next project!
