Inspired by a pair of socks entered in our "Koigu & You" customer show, Churchmouse designed these little one-skein slipper socks for the 2009 LYS Tour. They make great gifts as they’re easy to fit and don’t take a lot of yarn. They’re nice for around the house. And terrific for travel.
Sizes:
Finished foot length: 8"/20cm. Fits 9–10"/23–25cm foot. (You should be able to add another 1"/2.5cm of length within your one skein of Koigu.)Materials:
1 skein Koigu KPPPM or 175 yds of an equivalent fingering-weight yarn.
Size 3 (3.25mm) double-points, or size to obtain gauge.
Change needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Gauge:
28 sts/34 rows = 4"/10cm in stockinette stitch.
