Square in a Square Blanket by Irina Polunenko is made of thirty garter stitch squares. Each square is first worked straight in one color then in the round using the second color, increasing stitches at the corners. The squares are sewn into strips then seamed, resulting a piece with a graphic Op Art look. It's made using Noro Kagayaki, a soft wool/cotton/silk blend.
