I love wearing scarves and am almost never without one… wool and cashmere in the winter to ward off the chill and cotton in the summer to ward off air conditioning. Nora is a more streamlined alternative to a lace shawl, simple, versatile and easy to knit on US 9 needles.
Sizes:
Small (Large)
Finished Measurements:
Length: approx 60 (72)"

Materials:
Any two very thin fingering weight yarns held together: 200 (400) yds each yarn. Note: if the yarn is too thick, use yarn single strand or go up in needle size.
US 9 needles (or size needed for desired fabric).
Change needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Gauge:
Gauge is just a guideline, it is important that you get a nice loose and drapey fabric you like. In each of the samples a US 9 needle was used and the gauge ranged from 18–20 sts in 4". Row gauge not important.
