Making Comfort Shawl by Jill Zielinski is a classic top-down triangular shawl knit in rows and rows of garter broken up by a simple, easy to memorize textural stitch. The shawl is finished with an elegant ribbed border.

ImagiKnitter Sonja made one using Ecological Wool on size US 10 needles. She worked an extra pattern repeat to make it even larger.

Finished Measurements:
Approximately 60 inch wingspan x 24 inch depth

Yarn:
Approximately 578 yards of DK weight yarn

It's knit using size US 7 needles or size necessary to obtain gauge

Gauge: 16 sts x 32 rows = 4in in garter, blocked
