Continental knitting is useful for many reasons: it’s generally more ergonomic and less prone to repetitive stress injuries, it makes stranded knitting easier, and it goes faster than English\/American knitting, once you have mastered the technique.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIn this class, we’ll focus on the knit stitch first and then the purl stitch, while knitting a simple scarf. Cast-on and bind-off techniques are the same for both styles of knitting and will be covered, if necessary.
