
Slip-stitch knitting technique is very deceiving. It looks complicated, but in reality it is one of the easiest ways to introduce color to your project. In this class you will be making swatches in slip-stitch and mosaic patterns that are used in Fog City hat. There will be also many different general tips and tricks shared by the instructor to improve your knitting.
Instructor - Faina Goberstein
Faina Goberstein is an independent knitwear designer, author, and a professional teacher. Taking an early retirement from a long career as a math professor gave Faina a chance to let her creativity and long-time passion for knitwear design to become a second profession. She now teaches at live events and virtually for Vogue Knitting Live, Rowan Connect, Interweave Yarn Fest, and various venues such as guilds, fiber fests, and yarn shops locally, around the country and abroad.

US 6/4.0 mm 16-inch circular needle and US 4/3.5 mm 16-
inch circular needle, or needle two sizes smaller than gauge needle.

Homework:
With MC and US 6 (or changed needle to get the gauge of 20 stitches to 4") CO 34 sts
*Knit one row, purl one row; repeat from * 3 more times ending with WS (purl)
