Free Pattern Friday: Prisma Loop
We are loving self-striping yarns lately (but that's nothing new!) and when we stumbled across this beautifully subtle cowl, we knew we had to feature it.
The Prisma Loop cowl can be worn as a long loop or doubled up around the neck for extra warmth.
All you need for this project is two contrasting colors of fingering weight yarn and size 6 needles. You'll want to grab 230 yards of self-striping yarn and 260 yards of a solid or semisolid contrast yarn.
We love the idea of combining a colorway of Mini Mochi with Tosh Merino Light. Not only will the colorplay be just gorgeous, the fabric will be incredibly soft and squishy! Start with the Mini Mochi first (if you grab two balls, you can make your cowl even wider!) and then find a Tosh Merino Light colorway to match. Tosh Merino Light comes in so many colors, the hardest part will be picking your favorite. You can pick a neutral either lighter or darker than the self-striping yarn or pick a pop color and have some fun! We love to advise on color, so don't hesitate to stop by, e-mail or give us a ring.
(Psst! This cowl would be a great gift idea for Mom's Day coming up on May 10th!)
