Knitting as Meditation
Has it been a tough month? Are you craving a little R&R? Treat yourself to our brand new Knitting as Meditation series starting at the end of February!
Instructor Lanny Mihardja will help you discover meditation techniques to calm your mind while you knit or crochet. You will develop your own inner calm, groundedness and well-being. This path to self-awareness and growth has the same benefits of a walking or breathing meditation. In each class, you will practice new techniques to deepen your mindfulness. Take the complete 4-class series to gain the most benefits from a structured guided practice. The class will run on Wednesday evenings from 7 to 8:30 P.M.
Class 1 (Honoring and Accepting) - February 25
Class 2 (Your Inner Compass) - March 4
Class 3 (Stillness and Motion) - March 18
Class 4 (New Pathways) - March 25
Give us a call or stop in to sign up. You can join just one class for $35 or sign up for all 4 classes for the reduced price of $110.
Participants may bring 2 of on-going projects if available; a more difficult one and an easier one to see which one of these projects feels most right to you to use during the class. The only requirement is that you bring an open mind and willingness to try something new.
