Customer Creations: Knit Like a Man

The gents were killin' it with customer creations last month, so we decided to dedicate to this post to the guys!  Here's yet another batch of our customers' fabulous creations.

This hat was Aaron's very first project (I know, we could barely believe it either!) and has been lovingly dubbed the "Sock Monkey Hat".  He used Crestone for the marled stripes and Aurora 8 for the red stripes.

Kyle visited us one morning to pick up yarn and was back only a couple hours later to darn in the ends!  We couldn't believe it.  He crocheted his hat using Classic Shades Big Time.

Justin crafted these earflaps that are essential for cyclists during windy, wet days.  So creative!

Elijah (11 years old) sometimes swings by after school to sneak in a few stitches before dinner.  He made this awesome neck warmer out of Encore Worsted and is working on a blanket now!

Stafford is at it again combining yarns!  This unexpected combo is the eyelash yarn Blossom in black with Madelinetosh's super bulky yarn A.S.A.P. in white. Such a surprisingly subtle combo!

Mark is at it again with more silky, lacy, magnificent creations.  In the shawl above, he used a variety of silk yarns (his favorite fiber!).

Thom picked up yarn a few months ago to make his mom a swirl coat (hellooo, best son ever?!) and the finished product is a stunner!  He made his with Kidsilk Haze Trio and Pashmina Worsted.

Paul made this glorious afghan for his boys PJ and Adam using super bulky yarn.  The blue yarn is reflective (Lumio/Lumio Fine) so in the dark, it sparkles!  Here's a photo of the reflective thread in action:
