New Yarns from Rowan

February 14, 2014

Silkystones beautifully blends silk and linen for a variegated yarn with natural sheen.  An ideal choice for warm-weather knits (or we-wish-the-weather-were-warmer knits), we’re sure the drape and subtle color play of Silkystones will charm you.  Take a look at the pattern collection here.

A lightweight 100% Mulberry Silk, Truesilk would make the perfect drapey garment or accessory with glamorous sheen.  Its chainette construction (think one big crochet chain!) will give you a silken piece that holds its shape.  Make sure to check out its accompanying pattern collection.

Pure Linen

Rowan’s latest 100% linen with a dreamy drape and soft sheen is an ideal choice for breathable summer knits.  Pure Linen has its own pattern collection; take a look!

Pure Wool Worsted

A machine washable 100% wool, Pure Wool Worsted yarn fits well into the pantheon of patterns for worsted weight yarn.  If that weren’t enough, Rowan came out with two pattern collections.  Check out Pure Wool Worsted Pattern Collection and Simple Shapes Pure Wool Worsted for project inspiration!
