Central Park Hoodie Reloaded

Sometimes you make a project a second time because you really loved knitting it and sometimes it’s because you want to improve or add a little something to the pattern. The latter was the case with Jennifer and her Central Park Hoodie from the Fall 2006 issue of Knit Scene. She used Cascade 220 for both, but the she spiced up the second version with additional cables to add extra oomph!

Linda made this gorgeous tunic of her own design, using a stitch pattern from Barbara Walker’s Fourth Treasury of Knitting Patterns. It was made using Katia Linen, making for the perfect summer weight garment.

Gavin models the handsome zippered cardigan that Cinzia made out of a wool-alpaca blend. The pattern is from Family Knits by Debbie Bliss. Cinzia was a student in one of my classes and I cannot believe how far she has come! I mean, a set in zipper? Brava!

Amanda took some Misti Alpaca in a vibrant orange and whipped up this lovely number. This braided scarf is shop pattern S77 and is available free with purchase of yarn. Hard to believe that autumn is just around the corner!
