Get Ruffle-y with it
Need a quick project with flare? Why not try a ruffle scarf? The secret to the speed is the in the yarn. Though it looks like your average bulky yarn ball when pulled a part the yarn reveals a mesh. By knitting into only the top part of the yarn a ruffle is created. Due to the volume of the ruffle you only need to knit about 5 stitches across with large needles, and voila a quick scarf with only one ball of yarn. We carry many different varities of yarn that will produce a similar look with the same technique, they include; Flounce by knitting fever, Kid Silk Creation by Rowan, Triana, Triana Lux, and Rizos by Katia. In many cases the pattern and instructions are on the inside of the label!
