Public Displays of Yarn Affection in Argentina

Allison spotted this lovely piece of yarn art while traveling through Argentina.  We’re loving the striking colors and how the crocheted piece follows the shape of the tree.

Customer Creations: Lisa’s Queen of the Seven Kingdoms

From inspiration to creation, the ImagiKnit staff was captivated by Lisa’s Queen of the Seven Kingdoms crocheted shawl. Pairing one skein each of Tosh Lace in Celadon with Orion in 12 (Iridescent Silver), Lisa made eye-catching lace with subtle, sparking edging.

Stop by the shop to pick out your own colors and snag the pattern.

Customer Creation: Carol’s Ruffle Scarf

Here is the lovely Carol modeling her crocheted ruffling scarf out of Madelinetosh Pashmina if Forestry.  Carol chose a soft, drapey yarn making her scarf flouncey and flowy.  Carol’s a knitter as well and learned the skills for this project through our Crochet 101 class.

The pattern, Spring Frills, is available for free online.

Customer Creations: Sally’s Babette Blanket

Sally’s Babette Blanket is stunning.  Using a whomping 23 skeins of Koigu Premium Merino (KPM), Sally’s blanket is a labor of love for her son.  And labor she did, Sally modified the blanket to be a little larger.  Sally recommends getting 3 skeins of 8 colors to ensure even color variation.  Feeling a little spunky?  Throw in a color of KPPPM. The Babette Blanket pattern was published in the Spring 2006 issue of Interweave Crochet and is available for purchase online.

We’re so looking forward to seeing what Sally makes next.  If you see her around, chat blankets and all things crochet.
