As soon as Pom Pom Quarterly (Issue 8) hit our shelves, both Jules and Kelsey knew they had to knit the cover sweater.
And that they did! They both chose two totally different yarns, each resulting in beautiful tops that they get tons of mileage out of.
Since she is allergic to wool, Jules opted for a silky soft acrylic from Cascade called Sateen. Her sweater had a beautiful sheen, great stitch definition and just a touch of drape.
Jules needed only 3 skeins of Sateen to make her top. At only $5 a ball, her total project cost of $15 is pretty impressive!
Kelsey, on the other hand, is addicted to wool. Her Waterlily was made with two skeins of Tosh Merino Light in the color Gilded.
The pattern book is now discontinued, but if you’d like to make this top we can offer a free copy of the Waterlily pattern with the purchase of the yarn to make it! Just give us a call or stop in.
