Students from the San Francisco Day School paid us a visit this past week.
They run a knitting club at school and make special field trips to the shop to stock up. It seems like they found our stash of Flutterby Chunky! We can’t wait to see what they make with their new goodies.
We are self-proclaimed Shibui addicts around here, so as soon as Pebble hit the shelves, Kelsey snapped up 5 skeins and cast on for an Aranami Shawl.
Pebble is a blend of recycled silk, merino wool and cashmere and is available in fingering weight. There is a full range of tweedy colors to choose from, check them out!
The Aranami Shawl (by Olgajazzy) asks for 5 colors of fingering weight yarn. We love the ombre look she and Kelsey chose, but bright colors could be fun as well! Snag a copy of the pattern here.
Looking great, Kelsey!
