Free Pattern Friday: Arzote

Our friends at Berroco also celebrate Free Pattern Friday, so we couldn’t help share their latest offering!

arzote

Revamping an old favorite (originally using a discontinued yarn called Lattitude), Arzote is a fabulous summer top knit out of a soft and fluffy cotton/alpaca blend called Maya.  We love the softness, loft and color palette.  The price is right, too!

mayastyleTake a peek at all the available colors of Maya and hopefully you too can celebrate Free Pattern Friday this week!

Save the date! Stephen West of Westknits and Steven Berg of StevenBe will headed our way during the 1st annual Fiberlicious Stephen & Steven Tour. This magical team of knitting and design inspiration will bring their amazing energy, talent and creativity to ImagiKnit this summer.

We have two exciting events planned for the evening of Monday 6/30 and Tuesday 7/1. On June 30th, Stephen and Steven will be showing off their favorite shawls and accessories in a trunk show extravaganza. The guys will consult with any participants and help them pick out the perfect yarn combinations to make their own masterpieces.

On July 1st, Stephen West will be here to teach an exclusive workshop on shawl-making. Learn the garter tab cast-on and different ways of creating angles and edges from the mastermind himself. Using unique combinations of yarn-overs, increases, shaping and color variation, you’ll learn to customize your own design or modify Stephen’s Boneyard shawl!

Stay tuned for more details!
