Interpretations Spotlight: So Close

Happy Sunday! Today’s Interpretations spotlight features Joji’s pattern So Close.

This shawl will be an heirloom that will keep you warm and toasty for many years to come.  The center piece is worked in garter stitch and the border allows you to practice some classic lace and bobble stitches.  It’s stunning, don’t you think?

Finished Measurements:
46 x 46” square.

Materials :
Yarn: 1150 yards DK weight in the main color and 180 yards contrasting color. We recommend Rylie, Superfine Merino or Blue Sky Sport.
Needles: US 7 (4.5mm) circular or straight needles for the center square and 40” long circular needles for the border.

Gauge :
15.5 st and 31 rows = 4 inches in garter stitch
