Holiday Knitspiration: Ribbed Vest (Plymouth N026)

Plymouth’s RibbedVest (N026), a truly darling knit worked in pure alpaca, is a wonderfully soft, drapey, and cozy garment.  Any of our chunky alpacas would work: Baby Alpaca Grande, Baby Alpaca Grande Tweed, Misti Alpaca Chunky, or Misti Alpaca Hand Paint Chunky.

The pattern yields a finished bust of: 40 (46.5, 53)” and uses 4 (5, 7) skeins.  It need not fit too closely, so pick your yarn and grab the pattern to get started on this vest today!

plymouth 1939

Plymouth’s Ruffled Scarf or Shawl (pattern 1939) uses between 2 and 4 skeins of Worsted Merino Superwash to make a simple, bouncy, and versatile neck accessory.  Choose two skeins for a sweet scarf or shawlette, or choose four to make a dramatic shawl.  We carry a huge range of colors in Worsted Merino Superwash, but if hand-dyed is what you fancy, consider the ever popular Tosh Vintage.  Pick your yarn, solid or hand-dyed, and grab the pattern today!

Holiday Knitspiration: Tricolore Cowl

A design straight from the ImagiKnit team, the deceptively easy to knit Tricolore Cowl features an interplay of three colors of Tosh Vintage (one skein of each) making an allover stunning cowl that can be wrapped once or twice around the neck.  It’s great in semi-solids (as shown), and we would love to see one showcasing a Tosh multi like Spectrum, Mansfield Garden Party, Mala, or Foxglove.

Grab a copy of the Tricolore Cowl (available in print and as a digital download) and yarn to match for your holiday knits!
