We just love Cotolana!  This cotton/wool/nylon blend from Berroco glides right off the needles and creates a fabric that is so light and soft you'll love the wearing it!

Caledonia is a swingy ruana that is the perfect all-season outerwear. The fronts are knit separately, then joined and to work the back in an easy stitch pattern.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Approximately 34” wide x 28” long (when worn)

MATERIALS
12 balls Cotolana (50 grs), #3506 Sycamore (MC), 3 balls #3501 White Pine (CC1), and 2 balls #3510 Maple (CC2)

Straight knitting needles, size 8 (5.00 mm) or size to obtain gauge

29” length circular knitting needle, size 8 (5.00 mm) or size to obtain gauge

 

Windham is a simple triangular shawl knit using two colors of Cotolana held together to give this shawl a beautiful marled look.  

Skill level: Easy

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Approximately 66” across x 19” at center point (after blocking)

MATERIALS 

6 balls Cotolana (50 grs), 3 balls #3501 White Pine (A), and 3 balls #3510 Maple (B)
29” length circular knitting needle, size 15 (10.00 mm) or size needles to obtain gauge

Essex is a sophisticated capelet knit in one piece from the top down with a generous collar. Lovely granite stitch is offset with rib side panels.  Essex is a shop sample so if you're in the neighborhood, come on it and check it out in person!

Skill level: Intermediate

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Approximately 45" (54”) around lower edge  x 191/2 (21")” long (from lower edge of cowl)

MATERIALS
8 (10) balls Cotolana (50 grs), #3570 Willow

Note: almost every bit of yarn was used in the sample.  Berroco suggests buying an extra ball to ensure having enough yarn
