Free Pattern Friday: Nolicare Cardi
We're enjoying beautiful weather today in San Francisco, but we still know better than to leave the house without a cardigan. This short sleeved cardi is great for warmer weather and can be knit using Berroco's yummy new yarns Indigo or Fiora.
The textured pattern is achieved with simple slipped stitches. Since the sleeves aren't miles long, you'll have this top finished in no time!
The recommended yarns (Fiora and Indigo) are both perfect options for this cardigan. Fiora is an interesting blend of cotton, rayon, viscose, wool and alpaca. You'll enjoy the stitch definition of cotton, the drape of viscose, the bounce of wool and the shimmer of alpaca all in a yarn that is totally appropriate for spring and summer knitting. We love the color options!
Indigo has a more subtle tweedy palette and is composed of 100% recycled fibers. The finished fabric softens up beautifully and lends itself perfectly to warm weather tops and sweaters. Take a peek of the yarn and be sure to grab a copy of the pattern by clicking here!
